Just concerned: last year there was no advertising.

People who went to church there did not know that the event was happening (according to a lady who lived across the street and just came over to see what was happening).

Last year, there was never a time when there wasn't more vendors than customers.

I have been a regular vendor there for years. Before I sign up this year, can I get a confirmation that you are getting the word out?

There's lots of detailed instructions, even on Indeed.com, for how to advertise small events.

Driving there costs in gas and time. We just don't want to be disappointed again.

I apologize if this sounds like criticism. We've had many years at this event which were successful, but last year wasn't one of them.

Hoping things will be better this year.

We are looking forward to being back! You are an integral part of the festival and we appreciate you.

Please note that this year if you wish we can also email you a Google docs form to fill out as well and return by email (in addition to the hard copy form with liability agreement signed and your check). This will make it easier for those of us on the committee to be on the same page. Please note that unlike with some Google docs forms, filling this one out will not require a Gmail address.

To simplify the structure, this year we will be requesting a flat $60 to vendors for one table, $90 for two, and you keep 100% of your earnings! If you will be demonstrating, please contact us as the rates are a bit lower.

We would like to receive your payment by April 19th; please mail payments to Dotty Erickson (Nordic Fest) 24322 117th Ave SE, Kent, WA 98030, and include the registration form with the signed liability agreement. (Please note that this is a different address than prior years). Your full payment is your deposit. If for any reason you are unable to attend, Vesterdalen may return part of your payment at its discretion.

Unloading – and parking is available in the lot on the south side of the church closest to 4th Street NE.

Set-up, take-down hours: Set up hours are available Friday, from 5-8 PM, and from Saturday 8 AM. Take-down hours are until 4pm Saturday.

We are looking forward to seeing you this coming Saturday, May 11, at the Vesterdalen Sons of Norway 6th Annual Nordic Fest.

As a reminder, the festival will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn – 410 H Street NE. The doors will be open to the public from 10:00am until 3:00pm.

Set-up times are Saturday from 7:30am-9:30am and table break-down can begin at 3:00pm. We are required to vacate the church by 5:00pm.

Ample parking is available for vendors in the handicap lot off of 4th Street NE; unload and load from this lot too.
