You stumble upon a fallen warrior. He is dead; nothing you can do will help him. However, his ragged clothes are flammable, and in the corner you see a discarded staff. Quickly you tear some of his rotted clothes from his corpse, wrap them around the end of the staff, and ignite them with the last few seconds of your lantern. Your lantern dies, and you drop it and leave it behind. Your new, makeshift torch won't last long, but at least you are not lost in darkness. This cave is a dead end; you must go back.
